what you'll learn

over the course of the weekend you'll cover:

  • a thorough understanding of the foundations of Barre, including its history, principles, posture and alignment

  • the key and recurrent barre exercises while learning how to create intelligent class plans with seamless sequencing and effective flow

  • confidently adapt exercises with progressions and regressions for clients of mixed abilities, including pre and postnatal

beyond the physical practice, we'll help you become the instructor clients remember. You'll refine your coaching and communication skills, develop your own authentic teaching style, and gain insight into marketing yourself as a barre instructor. We'll also cover licensing, liabilities, frequently asked questions and key industry terminology, giving you the knowledge to begin teaching professionally with confidence.

pre & postnatal workshops

a practical, in-person 3-hour workshop delivered alongside an expert women's health physiotherapist, designed to give movement professionals the confidence and knowledge to safely integrate prenatal and postnatal clients into general classes, without compromising the flow, challenge, or creativity of their sessions.

rather than separating clients or disrupting the class experience, you'll learn how to confidently adapt exercises so everyone can move together. You'll develop a deeper understanding of the changing female body throughout pregnancy and after birth, enabling you to coach with confidence, empathy, and evidence-based practice.

during the workshop, you’ll cover:

  • the effects of pregnancy and postpartum hormones on movement and recovery

  • returning to exercise after birth

  • pre and postnatal considerations and contraindications

  • safe exercise modifications

  • practical cueing strategies that help women reconnect with their bodies, build confidence, and feel supported at every stage of their journey.
